Wednesday was a wonderful day. We took Paul into the MTC to begin his mission to the Florida, Ft. Lauderdale Spanish speaking mission. Both Rosie and I had a few mixed emotions as we said goodbye to this almost perfect son. We will miss him very much. His peacmaker spirit, wonderful way with people, his unique sense of humor, his hard work, his kindness towards his siblings... will be sorely missed. But there is nothing he could do that would make us happier and more proud of him. He will be an outstanding missionary.
As we were walking into the MTC, Paul leaned over to us and said, "I'm getting kind of tired of this suit." Classic Paul.

I remember 8+ years ago when the whole family was there with me. I wish we could have been there to see Paul off. He looks great and I think he'll be a great missionary - I can't wait to hear his stories.
I'm sick of all this old-fashioned crack...8am, athens. - i love the suit story.
he looks so happy and so do you and mom - thanks for sharing this.
Yea for Paully boy!
He makes a very handsome missionary. Know that we will be including Paul in our prayers everyday. He'll be a great assest to missionary work in Florida.
