Thanks Dad for posting. Maybe you and I are the only ones who read this?? Anyway, I woke up yesterday morning and put my glasses on. But ever since I substitute taught 5th grade gym and played dodgeball they haven't quite fit as nicely. During one of the dodgeball games, a 5th grader broke the cardinal rule of dodgeball. He launched a high speed ball that hit me above the shoulders, knocking my glasses off and making them not fit quite right. So I've taken to bending them in a bit to get them to fit more closely to my head.
Well yesterday morning as I was bending them in, they snapped right in half. I tried duct tape but it would only hold them together for a short amount of time before each lense would start to slowly droop down my face. So I no longer have glasses. I finally got contacts again yesterday morning. Though I did buy another pair of frames. My vision also got worse. I am thinking in probably 10 or 15 years I will need bi-focals. But for now, I am enjoying my glasses-free lifestyle.
