We had an exciting adventure to Vancouver on August 18th for our 32nd Anniversary. We started it off with a great hike up Grouse Grind Trail. We wondered a bit when we got to the trail head because we observed the strict warnings about the risks of the hike! But the wander-lust in us overpowered the fear and we forged ahead. . .
Brad is a perfect scout . . .
I have to say it was probably the steepest hike I have ever been on . . .
They cut the trail pretty much straight up the mountain. I think Brad said it was 2800 ft. in 1.8 miles!
But look who was waiting at the top all carved in wood!
What a view from up on top!
Plus a ride down to save the old knees!
That evening a wonderful seafood dinner and a session at the new Vacouver Temple for a perfect climax to a very special day in our lives!
I am a very lucky girl to have such a wonderful mate! Love you Brad! Thanks for a wonderful trip.

Who is that giant basketball man? I'm glad you didn't fall off the steep mountain - we would have been really sad around here. We love you both - thanks for being married for 32 years and counting!
