Rosie, Joyce and Grace.
Joyce has had a cold all week and John and Julie understandably did not want to pass that on to Grace. So this was the first time she hugged her new sister.
Like all newborns Grace spends most of her time sleeping, but here she is wide awake and checking things out.
It looks like Joyce is trying to give Grace her first blessing.
Over the last month Rosie has spent countless hours on this cuddly animal quilt for the new baby. She finished it the night before she flew here. I'm not sure Grace appreciates it just yet, but I suspect one day she will.

I love that baby. Julie, I think you're right. She looks like a Johnson. Love the quilt too Rosie. Very cute. Looks like tons of work! It will be a heirloom one day. I think Joyce is in love with the baby too.
