Hey everyone
A few weeks ago John and I went to the doctor for an ultrasound. We thought we'd post the picture here as a little introduction to the person we will all get to meet come February. The other good part about the ultra sound aside from seeing that everything looked healthy with the baby was the fact that the technician couldn't see the fibroid. So it is definitely not growing and looks like it won't be a problem in the delivery. With that said . . . we look forward to seeing you all at Thanksgiving.

It's got your eyes, Julie. Are you guys going to find out the gender, or do you know and I'm just way out of the loop?

We can already tell that your baby will be good looking & a genius. We found out we're having a girl! Baby Lydia can't wait to meet her new little cousin in February. When is your due date?

No we are not finding out the gender - we are hoping it will give us something to look forward to during the labor.

How exciting that you guys are having a girl - I like the name Lydia that is very pretty - my due date is 24 of Feb. But I don't totally trust their calculations. I'm just thinking it will come sometime around the end of February and not setting my hopes on any one day.
julie, it is great to see your ultrasound- gives me a little thrill to think about baby searcy on the way! i think it seems very romantic to wait until the delivery to discover the sex of the baby and have the "it's a whatever!" moment when you first meet your child.
